Atlanta’s World Changers Church International recently – hosted an electrifying gathering of women at the annual Bloom: A Radical Women’s Conference, curated by Pastor Taffi Dollar. Spanning two days, from March 14 to 15, this transformative event exceeded attendees’ expectations, featuring an impressive lineup of speakers, workshops, and performances aimed at inspiring and empowering women to embrace their uniqueness and cultivate empowerment in every aspect of their lives.

The conference was also fueled by soul-stirring performances, featuring a stellar lineup of musical performances. Grammy-winning singer Samara Joy, Tye Tribbett, and Da’Dra Greathouse captivate audiences with their magic.

Repositioning for Growth: The Season of Bloom

The conference started with excitement and anticipation as women from all walks of life gathered to immerse themselves in a two-day commitment to fostering their growth and self-discovery. With a tagline urging attendees to “be fresh, be bold, be empowered,” Bloom set the stage for a journey of transformation and empowerment.

Throughout the event, attendees were treated to insightful talks and engaging workshops led by industry experts and thought leaders. Egypt Sherrod, Laura Pickett, and Dr. Anita Phillips sparked the audience with discussions on personal growth, finance, and empowerment, as well as practical tips for navigating life’s challenges; the conference offered a wealth of knowledge and inspiration for women seeking to thrive in today’s world.

One of the standout themes of the conference was the idea of “repotting,” inspired by the analogy of a plant reaching its capacity in a limited space. Keynote speaker Krislyn McNair eloquently spoke about the season of repositioning, where many find themselves in survival mode, desperately trying to bloom despite being confined by their circumstances. Drawing parallels between a plant’s growth and personal development, attendees were encouraged to embrace change, step out of their comfort zones, and leap into new opportunities when the grace of God presents itself.

A Lasting Impact

As Bloom ended, some attendees were filled with joy, feeling inspired, empowered, and equipped with the tools needed to thrive in their personal and professional lives. Bonds were made between attendees and them understanding their Bloom season with other women.  The conference served as a reminder that, like a blooming flower, each woman possesses the power to flourish and shine brightly in the world.

Bloom: A Radical Women’s Conference, curated by Pastor Taffi Dollar, proved to be a resounding success with a lasting impact on all who attended. As women continue to reflect on the insights gained and the connections made at the event, one thing remains clear – the journey to empowerment is ongoing, and together, women can rise, bloom, and shine.
