Handling the pandemic as a business owner is no easy task. As we all watched the news and social media through the global health crisis, we saw that some businesses triumphed and sadly, some sank. Skin Vegan Medspa in Atlanta’s prestigious Buckhead District  found a new way to cater to more customers. 

Her previous “Skin” monikered brands had always been successful businesses, but the owner and CEO, Jazmin wanted more people to be able to enjoy her luxurious Spa. She constantly saw the hustle and bustle of clients, ranging from everyday people to celebrities like Cardi B. and Porsha Williams.

In 2020, the 30-something multi-preneur decided to transform the Skin brand to enhance the aesthetic sector with elevated products, services and a microfocus on organic ingredients, fresh product offerings and health conscious services. With the new health conscious additions, the Medspa has now included a juice bar which includes organic fresh and cold pressed juice and spritzers. The juices are result driven and directly promote a better immune system, beauty, energy, digestive system, anti-aging and stress relief.

When talking to the owner and CEO of Skin, Jazmin, she states “What makes Skin different from any other spa is the multitude of services available to customers. We are a one stop shop, we don’t just offer skincare services but nails and hair too.” Skin caters to all women but especially to women of color. “Women of color and of all ethnicities are being misdiagnosed and often given products that were never created for their skin or skincare issues.” Jazmin aims to fix that.

Skincare should help everyone, not just a select group of people.

In addition to the spa services, Skin offers Medspa services that include injectables, chemical peels, body and laser treatments. The spa’s Medical Director, Dr. Alan N. Larsen is a board-certified plastic surgeon who also owns his own plastic surgery studio. His work has been highlighted in Best Self Magazine, Jezebel and The Atlantan. 

On top of all of this, Jazmin is owner of her brand, Life of G.O.D.S. She is a force to be reckoned with. She owns and runs her 2 businesses while being a mom to her creative and fun-loving son, Navarro.
