Born and raised in Las Vegas, Candice Rose Eastman didn’t have an easy life growing up. Coming from a low income family, she describes her time in Vegas as “being surrounded by brokenness. “From a young age she saw the effects of gangs, violence and gambling. Even though it was hard growing up in Vegas, she is thankful for it. “ It’s made me tough, resourceful and has allowed me to search for peace and allowed my spiritual growth.”
Candice is the founder and self-titled, “Editor in Queen” of She Rose Magazine. After 23 years as a professional in the hair industry she decided it was time to pursue her dreams. She grew tired of the mundane feel of her life and was ready for a change. As an intuitive and in-tune woman, she birthed the idea of a magazine focused on empowerment and telling the stories of real, non-celebrity women–thus She Rose was created. The quarterly magazine’s mission statement is to provide a platform that offers creative freedom, connection, growth and inspiration for all women.
The digital platform is centered on creative freedom and affords opportunities for herself and other women to authentically share their creativity with audiences who would benefit from their work. “Having to learn to rise, and having a sense of peace in my life is where She Rose came from.”
She Rose is a project that celebrates global women from all walks and facets of life. Flipping the pages, readers can expect to see women from all cities, backgrounds, creeds, political parties, income levels, colors, religions, sexual orientations, ages, and more. Each issue offers breathtaking artwork, inspiration, heart-warming stories, profound advice, captivating gifts, and ancient wisdom to its readers. The women featured are purposefully chosen to remind the world to keep going in the direction of one’s visions and that we are all connected.
Candice vows to continue to support women who have great aspirations like herself and help them connect to others with like minds.
